[Marianco] – Program and Event Manager (Prevention & Rehabilitation Programs)

[Marianco] is committed to ending child sexual exploitation and supporting children through prevention and rehabilitation programs. Through advocacy, education, and direct action, we protect children, empower survivors, and drive systemic change.

As an early-stage NGO, this internship offers a unique opportunity to help shape our programs and events, while contributing to webinars, campaigns, and initiatives that directly impact the lives of children.


Role Overview


We’re looking for a Program and Event Manager Intern to help design, implement, and manage programs focused on prevention and rehabilitation. You will also participate in webinars, coordinate events, and assist with community engagement efforts. This role is ideal for proactive individuals passionate about social impact, program management, and advocacy.


Key Responsibilities


Program Development & Management

  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and evaluate programs for prevention and rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and assess program effectiveness, suggesting improvements.
  • Document program activities, outcomes, and lessons learned for reporting and strategic planning.


Event & Webinar Participation

  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of webinars and events.
  • Actively participate in webinars, including presenting content or moderating sessions.
  • Coordinate logistics with speakers, volunteers, and partners to ensure smooth delivery.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with partners, volunteers, and donors to enhance program and event impact.
  • Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and communicate updates.
  • Assist in creating awareness campaigns aligned with the NGO’s mission.


Administrative Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Support advocacy and fundraising initiatives by providing program insights and event participation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
  • Experience in program management, especially in prevention, rehabilitation, or community initiatives.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable participating in webinars and online events.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate in a remote environment.
  • Passion for child protection, rehabilitation, and social welfare.


Desired Skills

  • Event planning and online webinar experience.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation methods for social programs.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (ClickUp, Trello, Asana).
  • Ability to create clear reports and presentations for stakeholders.
