Job description:

The Golang Developer works closely with all members of the Enterprise Technical Services team to ensure that all applications are bug free, innovative and adhere to the business requirements. In this role, the candidate will work on application development, solution assessment, and application support.

Responisibilities:

• Maintain and build new features for a large Golang backend deployed to AWS
• Configure, debug, and contribute to over 100 SAML based Single Sign-On projects with external vendors, using our developed-in-house Golang framework
• Diagnose obscure errors for a system serving over 1 million users
• For every change, consider backwards compatibility for backend systems, web apps, and dozens of individually versioned white label mobile apps
• Diagnose and remedy code, database, and architectural performance issues
• Maintain Golang Pulumi Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Write complex PostgreSQL queries and database migrations
• Contribute to testing, backup, logging, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Contribute to GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and planning discussions
• Communicate and collaborate with Android, iOS, web, and other backend engineers

Job requirements:

• Read, write, and speak English at a professional level
• +4 yrs Golang experience
• +4 yrs AWS or similar experience
• +4 yrs SQL experience
• +4 yrs IaC experience
• Ability to complete responsibilities with minimal instructions
