Join the dynamic IB Client Platform Stream and work closely with colleagues in London, Switzerland, India, and the US, including T-shaped engineers. The Nucleus Crew is at the cutting edge of providing key AI platforms for the Investment Bank, Wealth Management, and other global divisions. This includes both classical machine learning with high-throughput (3m+ monthly) low-latency email classification services, as well as LLM inference and chatbots.

Responsibilities:

Are you ready to be at the forefront of AI innovation team? We are seeking a seasoned DevOps engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes and Azure to join our IB Client Platform Stream - Nucleus Crew. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM/Bicep/Terraform.

• Manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes - AKS).

• Ensure high system availability, security, and performance.

• Automate system provisioning and recovery.

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize Azure resource usage.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, systems, and procedures.

• Efficiently interact with business and development teams at all levels.

• Research opportunities to enhance resource consumption.

• Identify root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns.

• Advocate for a DevOps culture and mentor junior team members on best practices.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with Azure native technologies.

• Strong Azure Platform knowledge, including AI solutions.

• Proficiency with ARM templates and Terraform.

• Scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Bash with Az CLI).

• Willingness to learn the basics of PowerShell.

• Hands-on experience with AKS (cluster creation, maintenance, delivering custom resources).

• Strong containerization knowledge.

• Ability to deploy applications with HELM.

• Knowledge of API Management Service.

• Unix administration skills.

• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (GitLab, Azure DevOps, Nexus) across all phases of modern DevOps pipelines.

• Solid understanding of networking (overall networking, DMZ setup, Azure Traffic Manager, F5 WAF).

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

- Azure certifications are a plus, such as DevOps Engineer Expert and Azure Administrator Associate.
