Specific-Group is an international software development company, that provides high-class custom software solutions for corporate clients in Europe and the USA. Our offices are located in Austria, Germany, the USA, Lithuania, Poland, Spain, Vietnam, etc.

We’re focused on clients from the financial sector, however, are strongly engaged with other domains: insurance, healthcare, automotive, public media, AI, etc.

Currently, we are seeking a Lead software engineer - Architect for a global project in fintech domain.


Tech stack

FE: Angular 19; TypeScript.

BE: Java; Spring Boot; Maven; Spring Security; Spring MVC REST; WebSocket; Spring Data; JPA; Liquidbase; Elasticsearch; Redis.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain banking app architecture, meeting business needs and standards;
  • Guide the development team, ensuring coding and design best practices;
  • Work with managers and stakeholders to set project scope, timelines, and goals;
  • Review code regularly for quality, performance, and security, giving feedback;
  • Manage system integration and deployment for smooth releases;
  • Fix performance issues for optimal app scalability;
  • Implement security practices to protect banking data;
  • Document architecture and design for future use;
  • Solve technical problems with innovative solutions for project success;
  • Interact with clients to gather feedback and meet their needs.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in back end development;
  • Proficiency in Java, strong understanding of Java ecosystem;
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure applications;
  • Familiarity with RESTful services and microservices architecture;
  • Experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address technical challenges;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members;
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment;
  • English language skills – upper intermediate and higher.
