ML/DS Engineer

Requirements and Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• 2+ years of professional, commercial experience applying Data Science, and/or NLP, and/or Computer Vision best practices to solve business problems; familiarity with state-of-the-art (SOTA) models and cutting-edge approaches in the field.
• Deep knowledge of ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning), and techniques (feature engineering, model optimization, hyper-parameter tuning).
• Hands-on experience building solutions with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent agents, MCP methodologies, and other modern AI techniques.
• Understanding of big-data platforms (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for scalable deployment.
• Basic DevOps skills, including CI/CD, Linux fundamentals, and Docker.
• Experience setting up MLOps processes: automating the ML model life-cycle (training, deployment, monitoring), managing data and model versions (MLflow, DVC), orchestrating pipelines (Kubeflow, Airflow), and running A/B tests.
• Proficient with Git for version control and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong teamwork skills for collaborating with product managers, data analysts, and business leaders.
• Proficiency in English and/or German (and other languages) at B2 level or higher.

Would Be a Plus

• Certifications in ML, data science, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Cloud – Machine Learning Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate).
