About the Role
We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to own the development and maintenance of our entire digital platform ecosystem — from conversion-focused landing pages and responsive front-end interfaces to scalable back-end services and APIs. This role is part of our in-house digital marketing team, working closely with designers, content creators, marketers, and other developers to bring innovative ideas to life through clean, efficient, and secure code.
You’ll be the key technical lead, driving both front-end and back-end development, ensuring our digital products are high-performing, reliable, and optimized for growth.
What You’ll Do
- Build and optimize websites, microsites, landing pages, and full-stack web applications supporting marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, fast-loading front-end experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or similar).
- Design, build, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and databases that power our platforms.
- Own and manage CMS platforms (primarily WordPress and Shopify; others as needed), including custom theme and plugin development.
- Lead code reviews, uphold code quality, performance, and security best practices across the stack.
- Define and evolve technical architecture to support current needs and future growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and content teams to implement UI/UX improvements and A/B testing variations.
- Troubleshoot bugs and implement enhancements proactively within an agile development framework.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, CRM systems, and marketing platforms to support data flow and automation.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in full stack web development, preferably in digital marketing or creative industries.
- Expert-level skills in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries such as React or Vue.
- Strong back-end development experience with technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar.
- Proficient with CMS platforms, especially WordPress and Shopify, with experience in custom theme/plugin development.
- Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) and building/consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficient with version control tools, especially Git.
- Experience with performance optimization, SEO-friendly coding, and web security best practices.
- Familiarity with web analytics, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and marketing funnel integrations is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical teams.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with headless CMS solutions like Contentful or Sanity.
- Basic development skills in PHP or Liquid for CMS customization.
- Experience integrating APIs, forms, or CRM tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Zapier, or Klaviyo.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG guidelines.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
