DevOps Engineer - 12 month FTC

Role Overview

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role demands deep expertise in automation, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and secure, scalable DevOps practices. You’ll play a key role in enabling high-performing engineering teams to deliver reliably and efficiently in a modern cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimise highly available, cost-efficient services on Microsoft Azure.
• Stand up and govern Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments with the same rigor and best practices as Azure.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts, implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD, and maintain fully declarative infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, incorporating automated testing, security gates, and one-click rollbacks for every commit.
• Integrate cloud-native security practices into every build, including secrets management, hardening standards, and SecOps monitoring.
• Automate manual processes using Bash, PowerShell, or Python, and manage configuration through tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform or similar IaC tools, ensuring peer-reviewed changes and proactive drift detection.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum workflows and apply ITIL principles to improve service reliability and delivery processes.
