Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development: Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API/WCF.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, solution architects, and business analysts to define API contracts and backend service behavior.
  • Integration: Integrate APIs with SQL Server, third-party systems, and internal platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability.
  • Security & Optimization: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth2, and optimize services for performance and scalability.
  • Testing & Reviews: Perform unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives in coding standards and software quality.
  • Troubleshooting: Debug and troubleshoot existing API issues, and manage system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APIs and backend components.
  • Technology Awareness: Stay current with the latest developments in the .NET ecosystem and recommend adoption of modern technologies and practices where applicable.
