Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC/Web API/WCF.
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, solution architects, and business analysts to define API contracts and backend service behavior.
- Integration: Integrate APIs with SQL Server, third-party systems, and internal platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability.
- Security & Optimization: Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth2, and optimize services for performance and scalability.
- Testing & Reviews: Perform unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives in coding standards and software quality.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and troubleshoot existing API issues, and manage system upgrades and enhancements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for APIs and backend components.
- Technology Awareness: Stay current with the latest developments in the .NET ecosystem and recommend adoption of modern technologies and practices where applicable.
