Job Description
The DevOps engineer will be responsible for building automation and leveraging GitHub platform features for data ingestion at our client in the energy sector. The individual will work closely with the client to build automation setup and process streamlining for data ingestion. The ideal candidate is immensely experienced at building software deployment DevOps pipelines and has an eye for detail and software industry best practices.
Responsibilities
The DevOps engineer will be responsible for building automation and leveraging GitHub platform features for data ingestion at our client in the energy sector. The individual will work closely with the client to build automation setup and process streamlining for data ingestion. The ideal candidate is immensely experienced at building software deployment DevOps pipelines and has an eye for detail and software industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage automations for data ingestions using GitHub platform features.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines. Strive for continuous improvement and automation.
- Create infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and/or ARM templates (Azure Resource Manager)
- Enable monitoring and ensure high availability of cloud services and integration infrastructure on Azure
- Work with security and infrastructure teams to coordinate the deployment according to compliance requirements
- Provide operational support on Incidence management and root cause analysis.
- Experience with Terraform, ARM, YAML, Git, Bitbucket.
- Experience with GitHub platform features.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python.
- Experience with cloud monitoring solutions (Azure monitor, App Insights, etc.).
- Experience with Azure cloud services (Service bus, Event Grid, App services, Azure functions, Logic apps, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
