Learning & Development Specialist - Derivatives

About the Role

We are seeking an L&D Specialist to support training initiatives within the Fund Accounting department. This role will involve taking over existing training responsibilities and delivering prepared learning materials to groups ranging from 8–100+ participants. You will also provide support as the team transitions to a new fund accounting system (FundGuard).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions to small and large groups (8–100+ participants).
• Support the Fund Accounting department’s L&D activities, taking over responsibilities from the current lead.
• Leverage existing training materials to facilitate sessions (content already prepared).
• Provide support during the implementation of a new fund accounting system (FundGuard).
• Maintain and update training materials as required.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across departments.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in a Learning & Development (L&D) environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background in banking or securities (preferably Wealth360/W360).
• University degree and/or expertise in adult education and learning principles.
• Completion of the Derivatives Fundamentals course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) OR strong knowledge of Derivatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of derivatives (REDS).
• Understanding of fund accounting processes.
• Experience creating or updating training materials.
