The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to support a critical data enhancement initiative.

The Responsibilities

  • Validate data inputs from sourcing documentation or systems,
  • Thorough QA/QC review
  • Updating and maintaining our custodian system to ensure complete and accurate data capture.
  • Update the custodian system by identifying and populating missing data fields.
  • Assist in reviewing client records to identify missing data inputs.
  • Track and monitor the progress of data capture, validation, and review.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient process.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Additional adhoc projects as needed.

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years in a data analyst, data quality, or operations analyst role
  • Experience with data validation, QA/QC, and record management
  • Familiarity with custodian systems, CRM, or enterprise data management tools
  • Data Management Tools: Excel (advanced functions, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleaning), SQL, Access, or similar
  • Data Quality/Validation: Ability to audit, identify inconsistencies, and reconcile missing/incorrect data
  • System Knowledge: Experience updating records in enterprise systems or custodian platforms
  • Documentation: Strong skills in tracking, monitoring, and maintaining data lifecycle documentation
  • Knowledge of financial services, investment operations, or custodian data preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven data requirements preferred
  • Exposure to data enhancement or data governance projects preferred
  • Experience with workflow tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar) preferred

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $40.35/hour - $43.25/hour
