About The Role
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team remotely, supporting our mission to develop user-centric digital products. In this role, you will be the vital link between design and development, translating mock-ups into fully functional, visually appealing websites and interfaces. Your expertise in Figma and JavaScript will be instrumental in creating seamless user experiences that are both beautiful and efficient. You'll collaborate closely with full-stack developers and product teams to craft common UI components, design patterns, and innovative interfaces that leverage the latest web technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from complete application overhauls to small interface refreshes, all while enjoying a flexible work environment and competitive compensation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a UI/UX design role
- Proficiency in Figma and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of design and development best practices
- Experience with industry tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe XD, InVision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
- Experience utilizing UX research methods to inform design decisions
- Knowledge of A/B testing and analyzing user interactions
- Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps effectively
- Familiarity with web technologies and responsive design principles
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with full-stack teams to develop reusable UI components and design patterns applicable across multiple product lines
- Maintain consistency with design language and UI standards throughout all projects
- Design wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction ideas clearly
- Act as a bridge between design and development teams to ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX concepts
- Create innovative user interfaces and interactive models utilizing next-generation web technologies to enhance user productivity and operational efficiency
- Conduct research to understand user needs and identify core problems to develop effective solutions
- Translate mock-ups into polished, functional websites with attention to detail and aesthetic quality
- Participate in usability testing and gather user feedback to refine designs and improve user experience
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into design processes
