What You’ll Do

  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across all projects
  • Ensure that project deliverables can be integrated to become the overall result (product, service) and are fit to deliver the expected benefits
  • Maintain the client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the project (ie: status reporting, issues management, and risk management) ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Utilize both Waterfall and Agile methodologies to tailor project approaches based on specific project requirements and goals.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support the development of internal processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Consulting experience – the ability to hit the ground running as a Project Manager or Agile Project Lead
  • Deep knowledge in all phases of the project lifecycle including the identification of the business problem, business case, and project or sprint plan development through project management, financial management and closeout
  • An ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Knowledge of AI concepts as applied in project management contexts and/or experience in managing projects that involve the development or deployment of AI-based solutions, is preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
  • Engage in the Slalom community, contributing to a collaborative team environment

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $95,000 to $107,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
