Role: .NET Full Stack Developer
Seniority: Mid to Senior (.NET Full Stack Developer) — candidates should have demonstrated experience owning features end-to-end and mentoring junior developers.
Shift: Australian Shift
Preference: Candidates based in Australia or willing to work in Australian shift timings
Team Size: Small cross-functional team (typically 5-8 engineers) working with product owners, QA, and operations.
Reporting Line: Reports to the Technical Lead/Engineering Manager and works closely with Product Management and Architecture teams.
Expected Deliverables

Reporting Line: Reports to the Technical Lead/Engineering Manager and works closely with Product Management and Architecture teams.
Expected Deliverables
- Deliver production-ready, well-tested features and enhancements according to sprint commitments (sprint-based delivery cycles).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments through Azure DevOps.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable code and unit/integration tests (using NSubstitute, Moq, etc.).
- Optimize database interactions and deliver performant SQL/Oracle queries, including complex CTEs where required.
- Integrate and maintain ORM mappings (NHibernate) and ensure data integrity across services.
- Provide technical documentation, run design/code reviews, and support environment troubleshooting and release activities.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in architecture and planning sessions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using .NET 4.x to .NET Core 8.
- Implement FluentValidation for data validation.
- Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and code management.
- Write and optimize complex SQL Server and Oracle queries, including CTE queries.
- Integrate and maintain NHibernate ORM for database interaction.
- Develop unit tests using NSubstitute and Moq frameworks.
- Collaborate with front-end teams using Vue.js.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Proficiency in SQL Server/Oracle databases and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Solid understanding of unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Vue.js or similar front-end frameworks.
- Must have recent experience working in the Energy/Utilities sector (Electricity/Gas only).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
