Senior Software Engineer – Automation – Híbrido (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Working Model: Hybrid (primarily remote, with occasional onsite presence in CABA – up to once per week)

Availability: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9–18 hs, 40 hs per week)

Essential Responsibilities

Software Development Excellence

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications across frontend and backend environments.
  • Build Progressive Web Applications (PWA) using modern frameworks and tools.
  • Develop RESTful services with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Automation and Quality Assurance

  • Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts to ensure robust software delivery.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to process improvements across the SDLC.

Project Documentation and Communication

  • Prepare project documentation, including proposals, business cases, and reporting dashboards.
  • Design and maintain automated reporting and analytics to support objectives tracking.
  • Create presentation materials for leadership engagement.

Collaboration and Agile Practices

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver iterative and impactful solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure technical alignment with business goals.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer, with proven expertise in automation and enterprise-grade applications.
  • Experience in banking or financial services (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Frontend: Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and React (PWA applications).
  • Backend: Advanced coding skills in Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.
  • Databases & Tools: Solid knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Kafka, Git versioning.
  • Architecture & Services: Strong experience with RESTful services, JPA for persistence, and microservices.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC best practices.
