About Us
We’re a fintech/crypto group operating across multiple projects at the intersection of finance, technology, and digital assets. Our development team spans several projects simultaneously, and effective project management is critical to keeping work on track. We’re now hiring a Junior Project Manager to support our senior PM by handling the detail-oriented tasks that keep our developers and designers moving.
The Role
As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll work alongside our senior PM to break down requirements into actionable tasks, upload them into our systems, and follow through to make sure deadlines and dependencies are clear. You’ll help maintain sprint documentation, monitor progress across projects, and provide a reliable first point of coordination when the senior PM is unavailable.
This role is designed for someone early in their career who has a technical background, enjoys structure and detail, and wants to learn the craft of project management from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Task creation & tracking: Break down requirements into tickets, upload them into Monday.com, and ensure acceptance criteria, dependencies, and deadlines are clearly defined.
- Instruction capture: Take inputs from the senior PM and team leads, formalize them into tasks, and communicate them clearly to developers and designers.
- Sprint support: Monitor progress on a day-to-day basis across multiple projects, flag delays, and chase blockers.
- Documentation: Maintain meeting notes, sprint reports, retrospectives, and progress summaries.
- Cross-team coordination: Build strong working relationships with developers, designers, and other functions; serve as a first line of communication when the senior PM is busy.
- Follow-ups: Check in on overdue tasks and provide updates to the senior PM to keep priorities aligned.
- Recent graduate or 1–2 years’ experience in a technical, product, or project coordination role.
- Technical foundation: Some coding knowledge and an understanding of the software development lifecycle — not expert level, but enough to understand developer workflows.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable working in English across distributed teams.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple moving parts without losing track.
- Familiarity with project management tools (preferably Monday.com and Slack) is helpful, though training will be provided.
- Willingness to learn Agile/Scrum basics as part of the role.
- Analytical & emotionally intelligent: We value high IQ and EQ equally — the ability to grasp complexity while building strong relationships.
- Entrepreneurial & structured: Resourceful enough to navigate new models, but disciplined enough to create order from ambiguity.
- Autonomous & proactive: Able to take on complex instructions, break them down, and work independently while keeping the team updated.
- Remote-first mindset: Clear written communication, comfort with async collaboration, and respect for different time zones.
- Ownership mentality: People who treat projects as their own, take initiative, and push things forward without waiting to be told.
- AI-native but thoughtful: Comfortable using tools like ChatGPT, but treating them as aids — not as replacements for their own analysis and judgment.
- Hands-on experience managing complex development projects.
- Direct mentorship from an experienced project manager.
- Exposure to multiple products and teams across fintech and crypto.
- A remote-first culture with colleagues across multiple continents.
- The opportunity to grow into a full Project Manager role over time.
