At smaXtec, we develop a unique health management system for dairy cows, using smart algorithms and AI applications to revolutionize herd health and sustainability. 

Your Role 

• Design and develop Rest-APIs for smaXtec’s frontend applications 
• Work closely with frontend developers to align API design with UI/UX needs 
• Build and maintain integrations with dairy industry partners to enable seamless data exchange and create interfaces to control barn automation systems 
• Create and maintain internal tools to improve workflows across departments 
• Maintain clear and comprehensive API documentation for both internal and external use 

Your Profile 

• Completed technical education (HTL, Telematics, Computer Science, or related fields) and at least 3 years of experience in backend/cloud development. 
• Strong skills in Python, Flask or similar, SQLAlchemy, Celery, RESTful APIs, SQL, Git 
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (Google Cloud), Docker, Redis, graphQL is a plus 
• Self-driven with a passion for implementing your ideas and solving problems from model to application
