We are looking for a user-centric Mobile Product Owner to lead and evolve our suite of mobile applications within the FieldClimate ecosystem, ensuring they deliver exceptional value to our customers worldwide.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Mobile Product Owner, in cooperation with product managers, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of the mobile applications of the FieldClimate ecosystem. You will translate business needs into technical requirements, Mobile Product Owner and applying Agile/Scrum methodologies, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, UX/UI designers, customer support, and agronomy experts. Your mission is to ensure that the mobile apps deliver exceptional value to our agricultural and environmental users worldwide, enabling smarter farming through real-time field monitoring and data-driven decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Ownership: Own mobile applications throughout their lifecycle – from ideation and development to launch and post-release iterations. Ensure alignment between mobile app development and the broader FieldClimate platform evolution.
- User-centric product development: Collaborate with product managers, support, marketing, and other stakeholders to identify user pain points, market trends, and emerging needs in mobile ag-tech.
- Requirements Definition: Translate business and user needs into detailed feature specifications and user stories for the development team, including clear acceptance criteria.
- Backlog Management: Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely delivery of features and improvements.
- Sprint Planning & Reviews: Organize and actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Delivery management: Oversee app releases from development to app store submission, ensuring compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play policies. Own and optimize app store presence, ensuring listings are compelling, up to date, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Metrics & Feedback: Monitor app usage and performance, and collect user feedback and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about roadmap progress, priorities, and feature releases.
WE EXPECT
- BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Agronomy, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, or similar role, ideally in mobile app
- development environment.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and app store processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI and analytical mindset with a strong user focus and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable decisions.
- Familiarity with weather data, sustainable agriculture, ag-tech, or IoT platforms is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
