The Role: Senior Full Stack Developer

To strengthen our go-to-market strategy, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. Speaking of the team, we are a multidisciplinary group of 30 individuals from 10 countries, bringing diverse perspectives to our startup environment. As part of CurifyLabs, you’ll have the chance to wear multiple hats, exploring and deepening your knowledge across various domains.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in building our portfolio of software. You will be building on frontend and hardware control applications that control the communications, user interface and robotics of our printers and IoT devices. We also have a Web App with a backend that is integrated with the devices and customer solutions. The quality standards and security requirements for our research and development are numerous and high. In addition to that, coding our printers and IoT devices is quite unique from “regular” Fullstack.

In this role, your days will consist of:

• Designing and developing software
• Testing and debugging software and hardware for optimal performance
• Writing clean code for both the front and back end of applications
• Testing and maintaining responsive design of applications
• Developing APIs and RESTful services
• Staying up to date with technological advances to optimize our software
• Considering security, maintenance, scalability, and other factors during development
• Working with web technologies such as Angular, React, Node.js, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Employing database storage solutions like SQL and NoSQL
• Demonstrating graphic design and visual communication skills Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum

What we expect from you?

In addition to the standard Senior Full Stack developer, we expect you to be:

Detail-oriented: You double check to make sure your work is correct before you send it on. You are obsessed with detail, and it shows in your cleanly written code and polished work.

Creative Thinker: you are willing to think freely and come up with creative solutions. We are constantly building new things, medicines, gadgets, and software.

A Clear Communicator: to keep everything cohesive, you are a skilled communicator both in writing and verbal communication.

Willingness to work mostly based on our office in Salmisaari. We have a small tightly-knit team, that enjoys working together with seamless communication also with neighbouring hardware and Pharma teams.

With a Work Permit: We expect you to have a valid working permit for EU.

Bonus for experience, interest or skills in one or many of the following:

• 3D printing and IoT devices
• Regulated environments like Medical or Financial industry
• DevOps
• Material sciences & Pharmaceutical knowledge
• Data science and/or machine learning
• Embedded development
