About Our Team
Meet the Nordea Cyber Security team. In an environment of marketplace changes and constant emerging threats, our team of experts work towards providing trusted technology environments for Nordea, while ensuring our security commitments are fulfilled.
Welcome to the CSIRT team where we have a reputation of trusted and skilled cyber specialists externally and internally.
In this role you will be responding to incidents, hunting for threats and evaluating on-going cyber threats and how they affect Nordea by using the latest available tools. You will be working in close cooperation with operational IT and Cyber Security teams as well as external service providers.
Main responsibilities in this role:
- Your main responsibility will be driving IT security related incident handling, threat assessments and computer forensics investigations
- This role is deeply technical and will require interfacing towards internal stakeholders in business and Technology as well as external suppliers at technical, project and management levels
- You will be contributing to different security related research and development projects, depending on your interests and skillset
- You will work as a member of our on-call ring. On-call work is compensated additionally, and it requires being available 24/7 and one hour away from the Nordea offices
This is the right role for you if you are:

- Broad understanding of IT and IT security in general
- You have experience from working with EDR products, SIEM systems, log analysis, malware and traffic analysis
- Hands-on experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems, including command-line interface
- Experience from at least one of the following areas: Incident Response/SOC/Threat hunting/Digital forensics investigations
- Relevant cyber security certifications will be appreciated
- Good business and technical English is a necessity (both written and spoken)
- To excel in this position one of the most important things is to have a keen interest in technology and cyber security, and be able to see the wider context of things
