Cybersecurity Design Consultant – Contract

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Design Consultant to support our client's electrical design office in ensuring cybersecurity performance from the design stage through to commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate cybersecurity objectives and implementation standards (IEC 62443, NERC-CIP) during preliminary design.
• Define network architecture and cybersecurity procedures during general design.
• Lead risk identification and requirement definition for partners and suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and compliance checks during detailed design and commissioning.
• Monitor regulations and technologies, contribute to internal methodology development, and represent the company at cybersecurity events.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in industrial control and network architecture.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of:
• Virtualisation environments (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Network routing principles
• Cybersecurity systems (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, IAM, Bastion, PKI)
• Cybersecurity tools (Wireshark, Nessus)
• Industrial systems and electrical substation architecture
