• The person needs to set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately measure business performance.
• They won’t just track numbers but ensure KPIs align with strategic goals and decision-making.

Data-Driven Decision Making

• Must be comfortable with reading, interpreting, and explaining business data.
• Use data to support better decisions, not just for reporting but also to spot trends, risks, and opportunities.

Business Alignment

• Understand how their analysis impacts end customers and internal stakeholders.
• Balance competing priorities and ensure the insights they generate help the organization run more effectively.

Analytical Skills

• Apply mathematical models and statistical methods to analyze data.
• Recognize where data analysis can add real business value (e.g., identifying inefficiencies, predicting customer needs, optimizing operations).

Tools & Technical Skills

• Must be proficient in data analysis tools such as Power BI (likely for dashboards and reporting).
• Could also involve other BI or analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, etc.).

Communication Skills

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to present findings effectively, both in writing and in meetings.
