We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing social sports gaming team, focusing on optimizing and automating CI/CD pipelines, enhancing observability, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work on building a new Kubernetes-based environment while collaborating closely with developers and operations teams. Your work will directly improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and overall platform performance for a dynamic, high-traffic product. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and monitoring within a globally distributed team environment.

In this role, you will work on building a new Kubernetes-based environment while collaborating closely with developers and operations teams. Your work will directly improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and overall platform performance for a dynamic, high-traffic product. This role offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies in cloud infrastructure, containerization, and monitoring within a globally distributed team environment.
Accountabilities
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments to AWS ECS clusters
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Administer and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance
- Enhance observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as DataDog, Loki, Grafana, and Prometheus
- Define and implement DevOps best practices, guiding infrastructure decisions and supporting developers
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams, sharing knowledge and providing support on DevOps processes and automation
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize system performance in parallel with existing deployments
- 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on cloud infrastructure and automation expertise
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools (DataDog, Loki, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and scripting languages (Python or Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and collaboration mindset
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL, or Kafka
- Prior experience in iGaming, high-traffic web applications, or social gaming platforms
