Network Operations Engineers Germany (Remote, Internal Positions) No Freelancers allowed!

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be living in Europe, preferably in Germany.
• German or EU citizenship (mandatory for clearance).

TH3RA Consulting is expanding its operations in Germany, and we are looking for several Network Operations Engineers to join our internal subsidiary.

These roles are critical to ensuring secure, stable, and highly available network services across complex cloud and data center infrastructures in Germany.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade networks (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs).
• Please ensure compliance with strict German security regulations.
• Provide 24x7 operational support in mission-critical environments.
• Execute lifecycle management: patching, upgrades, and firmware management.
• Contribute to automation, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.

🔹 Technical Expertise (we are hiring for different profiles, not all skills required in one person)

• Routing & Switching: Cisco ACI (Spine/Leaf), Arista Data Center Fabrics.
• Firewalls & Security: Fortinet FortiGate, Check Point, Palo Alto.
• Load Balancing & Application Delivery: F5 (LTM, SSL offloading, WAF).
• VPN & WAN: IPsec/MPLS connectivity, high availability designs.
• Network Monitoring/Automation: observability tools, scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).

Candidates may specialize in one or more of these areas. We are building a team with complementary expertise.

🔹 Eligibility Requirements

• German or EU citizenship (mandatory for clearance).
• Must already hold Ü2 security clearance (Sabotageschutz) OR be fully eligible and willing to obtain it.
• Fluent in English (German is an advantage).

🔹 Work Location

• Remote-first role with flexibility to work from home.
• Candidates must reside in Germany (or be willing to relocate) to comply with legal and security clearance requirements.
