Job Title: Java Developer – Data Platform (Contract) - €470/Day

Location: Hybrid – in Dublin

A leading global e-commerce company is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their Dublin-based team on a contract basis. You’ll work across multiple data platform initiatives that drive large-scale, customer-facing systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful, enterprise-grade backend services and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of a unified data platform, focusing on data ingestion, tracking, and processing pipelines
• Support data integration efforts from external clients into internal systems
• Assist in delivering requirements for a medidata project, including:
• Model identification and validation
• API specification and development
• Categorization of data and database integration
• Participate in project-based work involving internal data systems and tooling
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate closely with a team of 5–7 developers across different components

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs
• Familiarity with database design and data integration concepts
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative Agile teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
