AWS Engineer – Mid Level – Dublin South – Hybrid

My client is a well established market leader in Data Analysis and due to continued growth and success has engaged IT Search to speak to mid level AWS Engineers looking to build on the first four plus years of their cloud career and work with a highly skilled technical team to maintain and improve their AWS (and some Azure) Infrastructure.

The role:

• Work across multiple projects in AWS and some Azure processes (migration experience welcome)
• Focus on scalability and reliability, working closely with Senior team members
• Utilising AWS knowledge and experience (Certifications ideal) on CloudWatch, IAM and related areas
• Focus on Terraform automation where possible as well as managing CI/CD Pipelines
• Ability to work on business as usual DevOps processes while being involved in migration projects

Role Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial post grad experience in Cloud Engineering
• AWS Services knowledge and experience (Azure and Migration welcome)
• Experience in working in Linux based environments, familiar with networking, load balancing and scaling issues, any Linux Sysadmin knowledge very welcome
• Terraform and IaC tools plus Kubernetes/Docker
• Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working as part of a team but also able to use initiative
