Mechanical Engineer

Edge Autonomy is looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Engineer you will play a key role in the design, development and maintenance of mechanical systems and components across a range of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your innovative ideas and problem-solving skills are valued.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, analyze and test mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to assess the viability of proposed designs.
- Prepare technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advances in engineering technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and testing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and finite element analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Good Latvian and fluent English proficiency.
