Responsibilities:
- Monitor health, performance, and availability of ESB infrastructure and services, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Provide support and maintenance of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM Transformation Extender (ITX), IBM MQ Series, and WSO2 Micro-Integrator on Linux.
- Perform middleware patching, upgrades, and participate in failover and disaster recovery tests.
- Automate manual processes using Ansible and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve production issues with ESB services.
- Document integration solution design, configuration, and deployment procedures, including user guides and technical documentation.
- Raise and coordinate resolution of issues with middleware provider support teams.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong experience with IBM AppConnect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM MQ.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and investigation tools: scripting (Bash, Python), web service testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, and log aggregators like Splunk or ELK.
- Programming knowledge in Java.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
- Understanding of SWIFT message processing (MT & MX formats).
- Development of data transformations (ACE transformation capabilities, XSLT, eSQL).
- Building message flows (MQ, SFTP, SOAP, REST) using IBM ACE.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols and SQL.
