Our client is a European Institution responsible for creating secure, sustainable, and competitive energy by boosting renewables, energy efficiency, and a functioning internal energy market. All while reducing dependency on fossil fuels and achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
The unit is looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join their security team and actively support them in new infrastructure, maintenance, and development.
Contract type: Freelancer
Location: Luxembourg, with a minimum of 4 days of on-site office presence a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Advising and supervising all aspects related to security for the unit, with a focus on new infrastructures (classified and non-classified).
- Supporting the design and architecture of systems, from conceptual to operational phase, in close collaboration with external vendors.
- Setup and maintenance of Splunk.
- Supporting the setup and maintenance of a new AWS cloud infrastructure for developers, including data migration from Bitbucket to GitHub, with automation of security testing (DAST and SAST).
- Assisting application developers on data anonymisation processes to ensure sensitive data can be securely moved to AWS.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in infrastructure security.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and design.
- Hands-on expertise in Splunk setup and maintenance.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure setup and operations.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including GitHub and Bitbucket migration.
- Knowledge of automated security testing (DAST/SAST).
- Understanding of data anonymisation and secure data handling practices.
- Ability to collaborate with developers and external vendors.
- Eligible and willing to undergo an EU LEVEL SECRET clearance.
