As a UX Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. You will be responsible for the overall feel of the product, and you'll need to apply your passion for design to guide research and design processes, solve usability problems, and create seamless user experiences across various digital platforms with focus on apps.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- User Research: Conduct user research to gather insights through methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Analyze user feedback and activity to enhance the user experience
- Design Thinking: Apply design thinking principles to address user problems and come up with effective, user-centric solutions. App design experience is important
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows. Develop prototypes that can be tested on users and iterated based on the feedback
- Design Execution: Design interfaces and create visual mockups considering typography, icons, color scheme, and images. Ensure designs are in line with the brand and product objectives
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth implementation of the design, advocating for the user's experience throughout the process
- Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate designs and hypotheses. Use data and feedback to refine and iterate designs
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in UX design and usability standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role. Focus on App Design
- A portfolio that demonstrates design thinking, process, and solutions to usability problems
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and prototyping tools (e.g., InVision, Marvel)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-centric approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment
