Product Manager - Jobs User Matching (Interim)

About The Role

The Jobs vertical at Vend is dedicated to our mission of “creating equal job opportunities for everyone”. Our jobs marketplace, FINN Jobb, is visited by over 1 million users every month and is Norway’s largest job-hunting destination. Still, we always strive to improve and are continuously rethinking our products and services to better serve job seekers, recruiters and society.

Now, we are looking for an experienced, curious and forward-thinking Product Manager to join our User Matching team on an interim basis, while our permanent PM is on parental leave. This is a full-time position, ideally from 1st December 2025 to 31st August 2026.

Your mission will be to lead the continued development of the User Matching product domain, with responsibility for minimising users’ search cost and optimising match efficiency at FINN Jobb. You will do so by leveraging AI, search and recommendations to efficiently and effectively provide job seekers with individually tailored job matches. Or, in other words, taking care of the “beating heart” of our FINN Jobb marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the User Matching product team together with your Engineering Manager, Johanna
• Ensure smooth continuity of ongoing initiatives during the parental leave period
• Collaborate with engineering, design and other relevant stakeholders to discover and deliver the best solutions to prioritised user and business problems
• Drive tangible business outcomes together with your own and other teams in Jobs / Vend
• Champion the User Matching product team and domain across our organisation
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Curiosity and eagerness to work with Jobs in general and User Matching in particular
• Proven experience in identifying, prioritising and driving tangible business outcomes in a modern product, engineering and design triangle, ideally with digital consumer products
• Demonstrated ability to learn and work with multiple functional areas of business
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to complex problems, using sound judgement to assess risks and to lay out arguments in a structured and insights-driven way
• Proven experience in working with complex data products is a plus
• A collaborative team player who optimises for the bigger picture and not individual wins
