QuantumGate is a startup within VentureOne, supported by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and its research arm, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). We specialize in developing and commercializing advanced post-quantum cryptographic solutions, with a mission to secure enterprise digital environments through cutting-edge protocols and applications that tackle the challenges of the post-quantum era.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong experience designing for products that rely on advanced, multi-platform design systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping user experiences end-to-end while also strengthening and evolving our design system. Responsibilities

• Design thoughtful, user-centered experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Leverage and extend our design system to deliver consistent, scalable, and accessible solutions
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented with quality and fidelity
• Contribute new components, tokens, and patterns back into the design system, with clear documentation
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align design solutions with business and user goals
• Provide feedback and mentorship to designers, raising the quality of design across the team
• Advocate for accessibility, usability, and scalable design practices in every project

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, with a track record of delivering digital products
• Proficiency with Figma (components, variants, tokens, and library management)
• Experience designing across multiple platforms (responsive web, iOS, Android)
• Familiarity with front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, component frameworks) and a collaborative approach with engineers
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to untangle complexity and create clarity
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence peers and stakeholders
• Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to apply them

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to or evolving a design system at scale
• Exposure to tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, or Tokens Studio
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment
• Systems thinking mindset—balancing detail-level design craft with holistic consistency
