You’ll work closely with managers and employees across the business, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. A strong understanding of Norwegian labor law is essential, and you’ll be part of a collaborative People team with access to mentorship and opportunities to develop your skills across the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support & Coordination
- Support the execution of core HR processes including onboarding, probation reviews, performance cycles, and offboarding.
- Provide first-line support to employees and managers on HR-related queries, escalating complex issues to the Senior Manager, People Team as needed.
- Maintain and update HR documentation, policies, and templates.
- Lead the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and internal events.
- Coordinate employee surveys and assist in analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Promote a culture of inclusion and belonging through local initiatives and communications.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian labor laws and internal policies.
- Assist with reporting, documentation, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with the wider People Team on regional and global HR projects.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new tools and systems.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand business needs and align HR support accordingly.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR role, ideally within a global or fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of Norwegian employment law and HR practices.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and rapport across all levels.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Professional approach to handling confidential information.
- Curious and eager to learn; open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
