Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js, ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and optimal performance across various browsers and devices.
- Design, implement, and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js and Express.js to support frontend functionality and data processing requirements.
- Design and implement scalable and secure database solutions using MongoDB and Firebase/Firestore, ensuring data integrity, availability, and efficient query performance.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including setting up CI/CD pipelines, configuring cloud resources, and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
- Experiment with AI/ML models and APIs, focusing on enhancing product capabilities through natural language processing, real-time transcription, and other innovative AI-driven features.
- Integrate AI APIs and tools into existing applications, ensuring seamless data flow, efficient processing, and optimal performance of AI-powered functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews, feature design discussions, and technical decision-making, collaborating closely with senior developers to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, API documentation, and user guides, to ensure clarity and ease of understanding for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in data preparation, model testing, and validation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI/ML models and features.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure effective teamwork, continuous improvement, and timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related program.
- 1-2 years of experience with React.js, Node.js / Express.js, MongoDB, Firebase/Firestore, GCP (through coursework, projects, or internships).
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML development, evidenced by coursework, personal projects, or curiosity about tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or AI APIs.
- Strong understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative coding practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
