Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite/Hybrid as required)

Contract Duration: 6–12 months (possible extension)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support day-to-day network operations, troubleshooting, and implementation projects for our enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls ( Palo Alto, etc), routers, and switches.
• Perform network configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support VPN, wireless networks, and security protocols.
• Document network changes, diagrams, and procedures.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve network incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and VLANs.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.).
• CCNA or equivalent certification preferred; Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE/PCNSA) are a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
