Job Summary
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to transform processes and digital assets into intuitive, engaging, and easy-to-use products. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, wireframing, prototyping, and visually appealing interfaces that enhance usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field;
- Has 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a digital product environment;
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and examples of work that demonstrate your ability to create engaging user experiences;
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar;
- Must have strong understanding of user-centred design principles with proven user research abilities;
- Must have proficiency in design and prototyping tools with experience producing wireframes, prototypes, and design systems;
- Strong portfolio of UI/UX projects across web, mobile, or multi-platform applications;
- Must have expertise in visual design fundamentals, including colour theory, typography, and layout;
- Knowledge of design language systems, component libraries, UI/UX best practices, and customer experience fundamentals;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to stakeholders and work across teams;
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams, with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies;
- Relevant qualification in UI/UX, graphic/web design, or related field
Responsibilities
- Gather and investigate user experience design requirements, empathising with user needs and behaviours;
- Provide guidance on UX research methodologies and facilitate research sessions;
- Analyse questionnaire responses, interviews, and field studies to inform design decisions;
- Communicate design concepts effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
- Identify and resolve UX problems such as responsiveness, accessibility;
- Conduct layout adjustments and iterate designs based on user feedback;
- Produce wireframes, flow diagrams, visuals, and prototypes that illustrate functionality and design intent;
- Present progressive drafts to stakeholders for feedback and alignment;
- Contribute to design systems, improving and maintaining reusable UI elements for consistency and scalability;
- Leverage data and insights to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
