Network Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves managing and maintaining both on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and security across all systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting global infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities:
• Manage, upgrade, and maintain on-premises IT systems, including Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Cisco networks.
• Oversee and optimize global and cloud infrastructures such as PaaS, IaaS, and Azure.
• Collaborate with third-party infrastructure providers to ensure efficient performance and cost management.
• Support local office and plant builds or refurbishments, focusing on server setups, storage solutions, backups, disaster recovery, and network layouts.
• Implement technical policies and procedures aligned with strategic goals and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding user authentication, data protection, and system security.
• Monitor vendor support cycles and apply necessary security patches while planning system upgrades.
• Provide second and third-level technical support, including occasional out-of-hours assistance for critical issues.
• Adhere to governance processes related to project, incident, and change management.
• Offer cross-functional support within the global team as needed, covering technologies beyond the primary scope of the role.
• Proficiency in firewall technologies and Cisco routers.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory and Cisco networking.
• In-depth knowledge of LAN (Local Area Network) configurations.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and IaaS/PaaS solutions.
• Ability to manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and system upgrades.
• Familiarity with IT governance processes and compliance standards.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
