Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

We are building the next generation of agentic user experiences—interfaces where people interact naturally with systems through chat, voice, and multimodal agents. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing rich conversational components and the backend services that power them. You’ll work at the intersection of front-end user experience, conversational design, and scalable backend infrastructure, collaborating with product owners, design, and engineering teams to create intuitive, intelligent, and seamless agent-driven interactions. Your work will directly shape how users experience AI-powered systems — enabling communication that feels personal, efficient, and human-centered.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer focused on agentic interfaces, you will:

• Build next-level chat and voice experiences by developing advanced React components for chat, messaging, and voice-driven UIs
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and AI engineers to define and implement conversational interaction patterns
• Design and optimize backend services in Java (deployed on AWS with EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB) to support high-throughput conversational data and agent workflows
• Integrate with AI/LLM services, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech APIs to deliver fluid, real-time multimodal interactions
• Implement and maintain APIs (REST + GraphQL) and real-time messaging (WebSockets, event-driven architectures) for responsive agentic interactions
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to ensure fast and reliable delivery of new features
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and scaling applications
• Ensure security, stability, and performance across front-end and backend layers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Stay ahead of industry trends in agentic UX, multimodal interaction, and conversational AI to continuously evolve our platform

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in React + TypeScript for building highly interactive, component-driven UIs
• Experience creating custom chat/messaging components, with attention to UX, accessibility, and real-time interactivity
• Solid understanding of state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar) and data flow in complex applications
• Familiarity with real-time communication (WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions, or event-driven APIs)
• Experience integrating with AI/LLM APIs or external services to power conversational interfaces
• Strong skills in CSS-in-JS, responsive design, and animation frameworks (e.g., Framer Motion) to deliver polished, engaging interactions
• Proficiency in frontend performance optimization and profiling for smooth experiences across devices
• Working knowledge of backend technologies (Java, Node.js, or similar) to collaborate effectively on full-stack features
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD processes for deploying modern web apps
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to writing tests (unit, integration, and UI-level) as part of the definition of done
• Experience with speech technologies (ASR, TTS) or conversational AI frameworks
• Exposure to LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, etc.)
• Knowledge of multimodal interface design (voice + text + UI)
• Familiarity with design systems for chat or messaging components
