We’re looking for a Tech Lead Data Engineer to lead the creation of a toolkit designed to support clinical study planning and resource assessment. This solution will enable technical teams to generate consistent, interactive outputs for proposal support. You’ll guide a small team, architect scalable data workflows, and build advanced visualizations using Python and Databricks.
This is you
- Proven 6+years of experience leading data engineering teams or initiatives
- Strong proficiency in Python, especially PySpark
- Deep expertise in Databricks and distributed data processing
- Skilled in building custom visualizations using libraries like matplotlib, plotly, etc.
- Experience designing reusable tools and frameworks for technical users
- Solid understanding of clinical study data or operational planning (or willingness to learn)
- Familiarity with healthcare or life sciences data
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines
- Exposure to proposal generation or pre-sales analytics tools
- Lead the design and development of a clinical resource assessment toolkit
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define consistent output formats
- Build reusable Python components and interactive visualizations
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure code quality
- Integrate with existing data platforms and pipelines
- Drive innovation and best practices in data engineering
