The Client

Perth Furniture & Fun is a Western Australian retailer specialising in quality indoor and outdoor furniture. The company serves both residential and commercial customers across WA.

They are now looking to hire a motivated individual to join their successful team as an ICT Project Manager.

The Role

This is a full time role with an annual salary is set between $90,000 plus superannuation. The role will be based at their office in Midvale, Western Australia.

The Responsibilities

Some tasks may include

  • Manage end-to-end ICT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff, contractors, and technology partners.
  • Oversee the implementation of ERP, CRM, POS, and e-commerce systems to support business growth.
  • Ensure system integrations between retail, warehouse, logistics, and finance platforms run efficiently.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve ICT-related risks, issues, and dependencies throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor service delivery.
  • Ensure ICT projects comply with cyber security, data privacy, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and measure project outcomes against KPIs.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including business cases, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Oversee change management, including staff training and adoption of new systems.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ICT operations and project delivery.

The Requirements

  • At least Bachelors Degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing large-scale ICT projects.
  • At least 3 years' experience in ERP/CRM/e-commerce system rollouts.
  • At least 3 years' experience in ICT project governance, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • At least 3 years' experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple business units.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing complex system integrations (ERP, warehouse systems, logistics tracking, POS, e-commerce platforms).
  • At least 3 years' experience in digital transformation projects, including cloud migrations, automation, and analytics platforms
  • Proven ability to communicate well and influence team members and stakeholders for a positive delivery.
