About The Role
Lead and mentor a global engineering team focused on revolutionizing mobile app development with Flutter. Drive adoption of Flutter across the company while delivering high-quality, scalable mobile applications and core platform components.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers, fostering growth and team cohesion.
- Manage projects, collaborating with product and engineering leads to meet objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on Flutter and mobile development.
- Develop, test, maintain, and deploy Flutter/Dart applications.
- Run agile processes: sprint planning, estimations, daily standups.
- Collaborate on building a robust technical roadmap for the team.
- 7+ years commercial software development experience.
- 2+ years team leadership experience.
- 2+ years developing Flutter apps.
- 2-5 years native iOS/Android or front-end web development experience.
- Experience working with distributed, global teams.
- Strong knowledge of Flutter app architecture, state management, and flavors.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving focus and innovative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
- Availability for meetings 7-11 AM Pacific Time.
- Experience building marketplace apps/software.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Azure DevOps, PWA.
- Additional Android/iOS development skills.
