People Operations Principal (AI Adoption & Workflow)
Location: Remote / Americas - South / Central / North

The Role
You’ll guide clients through the Chiri Framework across the People lifecycle—hire, onboard, develop, support, and retain. You’ll map how work really happens, understand the data and policies behind it, find the right moments for AI, and help the team adopt simple, reliable AI tools and workflows.
What You’ll Do
Leveraging the Chiri framework and playbooks, you’ll plug into our system and:
- Understand the work: Meet with recruiters, HR, managers, and employees to map processes, handoffs, and pain points.
- Clarify the data and policies: Identify what’s tracked, where knowledge lives, and how privacy and compliance shape the work.
- Find the openings for AI: Prioritize use cases that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and support a better employee experience.
- Design practical workflows: Create clear, human-in-the-loop steps for things like intake/JDs, interview feedback, onboarding checklists, policy Q&A, and document generation.
- Pilot and roll out: Test with a small group, refine, then roll out with simple tools, training, and runbooks.
- Support adoption: Track usage and outcomes; coach managers and HR partners; tune prompts, retrieval, and guardrails.
- Partner across functions: Work with Legal, IT, and Finance to land changes that are safe and sustainable.
What You Bring
- A learner’s mentality is critical in the massively changing world of AI.
- Hands-on People Ops / HR Ops experience at startups or companies under 500 people.
- Clear, calm communication with executives and ICs; strong facilitation skills.
- Data is a key pillar of our Chiri Framework. You don’t just love data, you’re dedicated to leveraging it as art and science to make it actionable. Comfort with People data and analytics, defining useful metrics and keeping data/knowledge organized.
- Real experience putting AI into daily People work (e.g., structured intake, scheduling, feedback assistance, policy Q&A, letter generation) with privacy in mind.
- Change enablement: you’ve helped teams adopt new practices and stick with them.
Nice To Have
- Service design or journey-mapping experience.
- Basic scripting or SQL for quick checks and prototypes.
- Exposure to regulated environments or global policy needs.
