In this role, you will help specify the physical layer control software for wireless technologies. This includes the development of the physical layer control software for cellular technologies, from requirement analyses to verification. You will also be assisting with the maintenance of the software asset and interfacing with other software entities. The ideal candidate has some system-level knowledge of cellular technologies and interest in the development of LTE/5G cellular protocols. Programming skills in C and Python are required, along with some experience in embedded real-time systems and operating systems.
Key responsibilities
- Cellular protocol (lower layers) software development, including documentation, and verification of the software with different test environments
- Working as a part of a scrum team and collaborating daily with colleagues
- Interfacing with other software entities
- Following defined software development processes
- Responsibility of the developed software asset, maintenance of the software
- BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, ICT, or equivalent education
- Programming skills in C and in Python
- Software verification-oriented person
- Some embedded systems and real time operating systems knowledge by education, hobbies or previous work experience
- Earlier experience in cellular technologies and cellular protocol testing is an advantage
- Very good collaboration skills and able to work with agile methodology
- Self-driven, motivated by challenges
- Accountable to perform towards given goals
- Innovative approach in thinking of solutions
