2. Role: Senior Android Developer – 3D/Graphics Focus

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer who thrives at the intersection of real-time graphics, AI-driven pipelines, and mobile performance optimization. In this role, you’ll architect and deliver the Android client that makes Solaya’s next-generation 3D technology accessible anywhere.

3. Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain a high-performance Android application for viewing, interacting with, and managing AI-generated 3D assets.
• Implement advanced 3D rendering capabilities
• Optimize rendering pipelines for real-time performance on a range of mobile devices.
• Integrate with Solaya’s cloud-based AI services for streaming and downloading large-scale 3D models
• Work with R&D teams to translate NeRF and Gaussian Splatting outputs into optimized, mobile-ready experiences.
• Collaborate with product designers to deliver seamless, intuitive, and visually stunning user interfaces.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, and champion best practices in mobile 3D development.

4. Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing 3D rendering pipelines for mobile devices.
• Strong understanding of performance profiling, GPU debugging, and memory optimization on Android.
• Experience with asynchronous data loading, asset streaming, and efficient texture management.

5. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing or visualizing NeRF or Gaussian Splatting data for real-time or near-real-time applications.
• Understanding of 3D computer vision concepts (structure from motion, multi-view stereo, photogrammetry).
• Background with cloud rendering, edge computing, or distributed asset pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source graphics/AR/3D libraries or frameworks.
