About the Project

Trendies is a secure, high-end resale marketplace entering its final sprint before soft launch. We are looking for a reliable, senior full-stack developer based in Berlin to finalize our MVP and help prepare the platform for public testing. This is a short-term but critical mission: your work will directly impact the soft launch.

Responsibilities

• Audit and finalize existing code (Next.js, Nest.js, Prisma)
• Implement and fix real-time logic (chat, notifications, product status)
• Connect frontend UI with backend endpoints
• Support QA, testing, and basic bug fixes
• Collaborate with the founder

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Mantine
• Backend: Nest.js, Prisma, PostgreSQL
• Other: React, WebSocket logic, email via Brevo, 3rd-party API integrations
• Bonus: React Native

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience (React)
• Proven skills in both frontend and backend (Typescript/ Next.js + Nest.js)
• Already based in Berlin — this is non-negotiable
• Available to start immediately
• Comfortable working independently with a clear scope
• Able to deliver clean, reliable code under a deadline
• React Native is a plus

Contract Details

• Fixed-scope freelance mission (~60–70 hours total)
• €20/hour
• Timeline: September 2025 (flexible hours but must deliver within 3 weeks)
• Possibility of future collaboration if the fit is strong

Live code review and technical Q&A to go through your logic, decisions, and approach (pair programming optional).

• Final Interview:

Offer discussion, timeline alignment, and next steps for onboarding.
