Senior Project Manager

Are you a strategic leader who can bridge the gap between business vision and IT execution? We're looking for a bilingual Senior Project Manager (German/English) to lead a multi-year, large-scale digital transformation for a major European insurer in Germany.

This isn't just an IT project-it's about fundamentally changing how our business operates. You'll be the linchpin of a high-impact program, responsible for driving the successful rollout and adoption of new core and corporate systems across our German offices in Munich, Hamburg, and Aachen.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Program: Set up and manage the program's governance and a dedicated PMO team, ensuring smooth delivery from planning to launch.

• Drive the Transformation: Act as a central point of contact, coordinating between local German business stakeholders and our international IT teams.

• Manage Stakeholders: Build trust and alignment among executives, business units, IT experts, and external vendors across multiple cities.

• Ensure Adoption: Champion change management to ensure end-users in Germany successfully transition to new workflows and digital tools.

We're looking for someone with:

• 10-15+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably within financial services, insurance, or consulting.

• A proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation or core systems modernization projects.

• Experience with hybrid Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

• Fluency in both German (mandatory) and English to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
