Investment Analyst

Redwood Recruitment is delighted to partner with a global Buy-Side firm who seek to hire an Investment Analyst to support a dynamic investment team focused on identifying and managing high-impact opportunities.

Essential Job Functions

Assess new investment opportunities by:

• Conducting comprehensive due diligence on target companies and industry sectors.
• Analysing financial statements, balance sheets, and key performance metrics.
• Developing detailed financial models and preparing investment memoranda.
• Meet with management teams of potential portfolio companies (travel may be required).
• Continuously monitor the performance and financial health of existing portfolio companies.
• Contribute to investment committee discussions and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Some experience in an investment-related role (e.g. credit/equity analyst, corporate finance/development role) for Associate or Senior Associates.
• An excellent academic background including a minimum of 2:1 Honours degree in a Finance/ Quantitative/ Business Studies/ Legal/ Engineering discipline.
• CFA or ACA qualification is desirable.
