Site Reliability Engineer - **Must be in Ireland**
Remote – (1 day a month in the office in Limerick)
Due to continued growth, we’re seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Engineering team and play a key role in scaling the next generation of our SaaS platform.
What you’ll do
- Work within the SRE team to build, maintain, and evolve our 24/7 production and development environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and top-tier performance for a global SaaS platform.
- Partner with DBAs, Cloud Automation, Deployment, and Application Engineering teams to deliver seamless solutions.
- Drive automation and best practices across infrastructure and cloud delivery.
- Collaborate with Security teams to ensure compliance and reporting standards are met.
- Participate in on-call support to maintain system reliability around the clock.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years in Systems Administration, SRE, or DevOps, with strong automation and scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and/or Windows in highly available environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS (IAM, EC2, S3, Redshift, Lambda, OpenSearch, VPC, Load Balancers, ASG).
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python preferred).
- IaC experience (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, load balancing).
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Degree in Computing, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- CI/CD experience (Git, Azure DevOps).
- SQL Server administration.
- Cloud security and compliance knowledge.
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Agile/Kanban background.
- AWS Certification.
