With the new Agile internal IT organization, we are looking for a manager of Development & Engineering Studio.
Studio Lead is a key leadership role within internal IT responsible for building and nurturing a high-performing βStudioβ of Software Engineers.
As a Studio Lead your focus will be on people and technical excellence side of delivery β ensuring that the team have the right skills, follow best practices, and continuously improve. Your job will be to create an environment of continuous learning, collaboration, and high engagement so that specialists can deliver reliable, scalable, and secure digital solutions that drive business success.
Responsibilities
- People Leadership & Development. You know how to lead and mentor people to help them achieve their personal goals while delivering value to Business.
- Capability Building & Best Practices. You understand and know how to set delivery standards and build ways of working, so your people can perform at their best working in Product teams.
- Resource Allocation & Team Support. You understand and know how to match the right person to the right task, based on their skills and seniority.
- Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight. You set and follow quality of Development process and have a Continuous Service improvement mindset across whole Software Development lifecycle.
- Strategic Alignment & Cross-Functional Initiatives. You follow Business priorities and build future-proof skills in Your Studio.
- Collaboration with Product Owners. You work with Product owners to understand their roadmaps and priorities, in order to assign the right people in right roles.
- Security Compliance. You build the mindset of Security-first in your people, processes and tools.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to understand technical information.
- Solid understanding of information technology with prior lead or manager experience in software development in a professional setting (minimum of 5 years).
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), including working in Sprints, participation in daily standups.
- Experience in driving CSI activities and standardization.
- Valid permit to live and work in EU.
