ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be at the forefront of delivering complex IT initiatives, working on projects such as system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and application/data migrations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Project Execution
- Lead technical projects related to system decommissioning, infrastructure upgrades, and application/data migrations.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project Lifecycle.
- Coordinate dependencies across infrastructure, application, security, data, and vendors.
- Maintain structured project documentation aligned with IT and security standards.
- Ensure smooth handover to operations with knowledge transfer and documentation.
- Collaborate with business owners, IT leads, and external vendors to align objectives and plans.
- Facilitate decision-making and ensure transparent communication of risks, blockers, and issues.
- Manage vendor deliverables and contractual commitments.
- Provide regular project status reports to steering groups and senior stakeholders.
- Minimize disruption to business operations during migrations and decommissions.
- Develop and manage cutover and rollback plans for critical activities.
- Coordinate UAT, post-migration validation, and hypercare activities.
- Support stakeholders with change management and communication.
- Proven experience managing complex IT technical projects (infrastructure, network, lifecycle, etc.), coordinating internal and external resources.
- Strong knowledge of IT environments, integration dependencies, and change management principles.
- Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Program Manager.
- Demonstrated success delivering IT infrastructure and application projects in large enterprises.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Background in insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Proactive, structured, and results-oriented.
- Able to handle complexity and competing priorities with a solution-focused mindset.
- Skilled at building trust and credibility across technical and business teams.
- Comfortable working under pressure and leading critical cutovers.
- Location: Vilnius / Riga / Tallinn (hybrid work possible)
- Start date: Immediate / as soon as possible
